What we're hearing
Need to know:
Fresh protests have erupted in Egypt, following Friday's call to prayer. Authorities and at least 1,000 anti-government protesters clashed in Alexandria. Meanwhile, an eery and tense feeling overtook Cairo, as the capital braced for the largest protests in recent memory. The internet and mobile-phone coverage had been blocked in various parts of the country.
Want to know:
Nelson Mandela is OK! He was discharged from the hospital Friday after a doctor said he had "responded very well" to treatment for a lung infection.

Should U.S. airports change their practice because of Monday's suicide bombing in Moscow? Domodedovo airport - like most major airports, including JFK and Heathrow - had no security check to enter its arrivals hall before the bombing.
Dull but important:
Score one for North Korea. The South has given in, saying that an apology for last year's deadly attacks is no longer a prerequisite for talks.

Burma's highest court upheld a decision to dissolve pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi's party after it boycotted last year's election
.
Just because:
A few young Germans have the world's biggest record companies at their knees. After hacking into the computers of famous recording artists and their managers, they have placed unreleased songs by the likes of Lady Gaga and Shakira online. Two have been caught, but the others are still at work.
Wacky:
The dilemma of a middle-aged prostitute. What does a prostitute do when she's ready for a career change? An ageing prostitute in Zurich's crowded sex industry considers her options.
