harassing customers in order to gain linking points in Google's PageRank
algorithm. Now, not only has [1]Google altered their algorithm in order
to prevent this tactic from being effective (Though according to
Katherine Noyes at PCWorld, [2]this tactic may never actually have been
benefiting the website in the first place), Now Mr. Borker has the Feds
to deal with. He is being [3]charged with cyberstalking, wire fraud, mail
fraud, and making interstate threats, and faces up to 50 years in prison
if convicted on all counts. Given his disturbing behavior that brought
about the charges, a federal judge has ordered he be held without bail

CWmike writes "Samsung on Tuesday announced a [0]new 8GB dual inline

increases the density of the memory by 50% compared with conventional
DIMM technology. Samsung's new registered or buffered (RDIMM) product is

circuitry. The new memory module is aimed at the server and enterprise
storage markets. The three-dimensional (3D) chip stacking process is
referred to in the memory industry as [2]Through Silicon Via (TSV).
Samsung said the TSV process saves up to 40% of the power consumed by a
conventional RDIMM. Using the TSV technology will greatly improve chip
density in next-generation server systems, Samsung said, making it

set the blogosphere afire with conjecture, which announced: 'NASA will

quickly by press release. A [1]scathing article in Slate.com lists some
very prominent microbiologists who say the NASA-backed study is seriously

sample washing to remove phosphate contamination. One of the scientists,

suspect that NASA may be so desperate for a positive story that they
didn't look for any serious advice from DNA or even microbiology people,'
The experience reminded some of another press conference NASA held in
1996. Scientists unveiled a meteorite from Mars in which they said there
were microscopic fossils. A number of critics condemned the [3] report
