War on the Border: A 3-Part Special

Premieres Monday 9/8c

On the heels of receiving the 69th annual Peabody Award and the 2010 Television Academy Honor Award, Vanguard will air a three-part special on the U.S-Mexico border issue. Providing a fresh and insightful perspective on one of the nation's most complex and controversial topics, the three-part documentary news special will launch on Monday, November 15 at 9/8c, with the second and third parts airing on consecutive Monday nights in prime time.

"Life and Death on the Border"

Vanguard correspondent Christof Putzel travels to the U.S./Mexico border to investigate one of the most contentious issues in America today: immigration. Christof attempts to cross into the U.S. alongside illegal immigrants and the Mexican "coyote" helping to smuggle them across the border. Premieres Monday at 9/8c.

"Marijuana Wars: Parts One and Two"

In Part One of "Marijuana Wars," Adam Yamaguchi embeds with U.S. agents who are working to dismantle Mexican drug traffickers producing marijuana on American soil. In Part Two, Adam follows an elite task force leading an investigation to take down marijuana growers from Mexico. Part One premieres on Monday, 11/22 and Part Two on Monday, 11/29. Both at 9/8c.
